A list of games I plan on buying before PS4

With the PS4 being released in less than a year, i'm sure any Sony fan is excited and i'm no exception. But before I buy the PS4, I think there are still a bunch of PS3 games more than worth visiting, so I personally feel like I need to play these games before buying a PS4.

Starhawk was one of those games I was really excited for, but just ended up forgetting about it. I don't know why I forgot about it, but after downloading the PlayStation-all-stars DLC, seeing Emmett Graves was like a jolt from the past. I remembered again why I was excited for this game.  It was a Sci-fi game with Western elements and, I'm sure its been done before, but it really looked like Light-box pulled it off exceptional well. From what I've heard from others, the story is not the best, but the actual game is great. Not to mention the game has some sublime music.

I've always been a big fan of the Sly Cooper series but after playing Sly 3, the franchise left a bad taste in my mouth, not because it was a bad game, but it revealed that the series was losing its steam. After a seven year pause, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time was finally released and I would be finally be able to play as the thevious raccoon again. I could tell that Sanzaru improved upon the series with this installment. Instead of comic book like cuts, it now had fully animated scenes. I thought this was a really awesome transition, it actually looked like a full fledged animated show. The graphics and soundtrack also got better, but I don't know about the gameplay since I haven't played it yet.

I'm no stranger to Uncharted-- Uncharted I and II were games I adored beyond all belief, but I just never got around to picking up III. I kinda got discouraged after all the negative reactions fans had towards the game, for example: The villains were boring, the set pieces weren't as good as two, the multiplayer is unbalanced, etc. But at the end of the day, I think I need to decide for myself.

Scott pilgrim is a comic book series I hold dear to my heart, it had lovable characters, a great sense of humor and a heart warming ending. When I found out that it had a video game (That is good) I just knew I had to play it! After playing the demo, I loved it immediately, the music was awesome and I loved the beat-em style of gameplay. I was considering to skip the game since it was 3-6 hours long, but like I said before, gameplay is the most important part of a game and it doesn't matter how long the game is as long as you enjoy it.

Yeah, I know  Dust 514 "sucks" (I don't think it does), but I feel like I really need to spend some money on Dust 514, i've been spending hours playing for free and enjoying almost every second of it. I've gotten some of the best possible gear and even after about 4 months, i'm still a long way from getting all of the gears and skills I see fit. I want to spend at least twenty dollars on the game, since i'm enjoying it so much.

A very long time ago, I played the Jak and Daxter games for a few minutes, but for the few minutes I played them I thought they were awesome! The levels in the game looked very gorgeous, the soundtrack is pretty good and at the price of twenty dollars, I can't miss out on this. Also its been remastered is HD, so that's pretty cool.
